Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a special requirement of translation work. Not everyone can guarantee the confidentiality of translations. We give this guarantee!

How can we do this? – One of the main priorities in our work with clients and translators is TransLink’s requirement of the conclusion of agreements of nondisclosure of commercial, technical and any other information with which we work directly. We guarantee to our clients COMPLETE CONFIDENTIALITY both at the stage of conducting preliminary and basic negotiations and during the direct work with the material. We also officially guarantee the non-dissemination, without your express permission, of any information about your firm, colleagues, the nature of your work and, any other information that we was utilized in the stage of preliminary preparation and the estimation of your material. This stipulation applies equally to the work of our interpreters. These guarantees, on the one side, are ensured by written treaty obligations with our translators and editors, and also by the management of the company, and on the other side, by confidentiality agreements with our customers, or the representatives of our customers. All information used for translation work, after it is finished, is either returned to the client or destroyed.

Exceptions may include terminological dictionaries/glossaries created by the client or our own specialists for convenience and increased translation quality, and also for decreasing the timeframes for translations on a highly specific project. With the client’s permission, new glossaries are added to a special separate database that is not accessible to normal users and is to be used only for future projects with that specific client.
